Who is behind Dossalis, what exactly is sold, what we guarantee and what we don't. Written to be read, not to deter.
This page sets out who runs Dossalis, the terms on which you may use this website, and where to write if something is not as you expected. It is drafted to meet Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services.

2. What this site is
dossalis.com is the website of Dossalis, a documentary control service for distributors and importers of medical devices, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2017/745. From here you can read about the service, take the free test and subscribe.
Dossalis is a documentation and reminder tool. It is not a legal advisory service, not a certification body and not an accredited inspection body, and it does not replace the judgement of the competent authority or of your own adviser. Responsibility for compliance stays with the user company.
3. What is sold here, exactly
A subscription to an online service. We don't sell a document, a template or a certification. What you contract is access to a panel hosted on our servers that asks you for the article 14 paperwork one item at a time, records each verification with its date, watches the expiry dates of your suppliers' certificates and prints your inspection file sealed with its digital fingerprint, and lets you issue verification records that anyone can check with their code.
There is a free plan and two paid plans, monthly or annual. Current prices are always the ones published on the pricing page at the time of contracting. No lock-in: cancelling a paid plan is done from the panel and takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; the account then continues on the free plan.
4. What we are NOT, said plainly
We would rather say this on the first screen than in the first complaint:
- We are not a notified body or a certification organisation. We issue no CE certificates, assess no product's conformity and replace nobody who does hold that competence.
- We are not a law firm or a regulatory consultancy. What you see in the panel is document organisation and reminders, not legal advice. For a classification question or an open enforcement file, you need a professional.
- We do not file paperwork on your behalf unless expressly agreed in writing for a specific case. We tell you which procedure applies in your region, who it goes to and what it asks for; filing it is yours.
- We do not guarantee you won't be penalised. Classifying conduct and setting a fine is for the competent authority, not for us. What we do is make sure you can demonstrate your documentary diligence on the day it is asked for, which is a different thing and the one actually within your reach.
- We do not verify for you that what you upload is real. If a certificate you load is forged or expired, the panel records what you told it; checking the document at source remains your obligation as a distributor.
5. About the regulatory information in the panel
The national layer of the panel — which procedure applies in your region, to which body, by which route and with what fee — is compiled by reading each administration's official site, and every entry carries its status: verified when the source has been opened and read, partial when not everything could be checked, and pending when the procedure has not been located. Anything unverified is marked as such and the official link is given. We never fill in a field by guesswork to make an entry look complete.
Even so, administrations change their procedures without notice. The information in the panel is guidance to save you the search, not a ruling: before filing anything, the official link prevails.
6. Terms of use
By browsing this site you agree to use it lawfully and in good faith. In particular you agree not to enter false data or third-party data without authorisation, not to attempt to reach restricted areas or other users' accounts, not to place automated load that degrades the service, and not to reproduce site content for commercial purposes without written permission.
7. Intellectual property
The text, page structure, design, graphics, source code, the Dossalis name and the distinctive signs shown on the site belong to the owner or are used under licence. Illustrations are generated with artificial intelligence. The header video is stock footage licensed for commercial use. You may quote content if you name the source and link to the original page; you may not copy it wholesale or use it to build a competing service.
8. Links to other sites
Where we link to an official journal, a regulation or a public authority, it is so you can check the information at source. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the site and the panel continuously available, but we cannot guarantee there will be no interruptions from maintenance, hosting incidents or force majeure. Nor are we liable for losses arising from decisions taken solely on the basis of what is published here, without the professional verification the matter calls for.
10. Governing law
This notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of the owner's domicile, unless the user is a consumer, in which case the forum granted by consumer law applies.
11. Changes
We may update this notice when the company details, the service or the applicable rules change. The date at the top shows the version in force.
